Proper care for your mommy mate swimsuits

Each and every Mommy Mate swimsuit is handcrafted - from the selection of recycled Lycra, to the printing of our magical prints, to the sewing, packaging and shipping. Every detail matters. Therefore, it is important to us that you know how to properly care for this truly special product.

Chlorine

Be careful with pools that contain chlorine. This chemical has a negative effect on colors, weakening them, as well as the elasticity of fabrics. Be sure to rinse your swimsuit with water after each entry into the pool, and after each use, wash with cold water and a mild detergent.

Salt water

Salt water also affects the brightness of the colors. Therefore, if possible, take a shower or rinse after every swim in the sea.

Sun

Never leave your swimsuit to dry in direct sunlight. This way, you will certainly lose the rich color prints.

Laundry

Forget about washing in a washing machine, use only cold water and gentle washing products.
